Weston, our Elections Chair, will have a short article in
the April newsletter with information about voting. Ballots
will be sent out to all members with voting instructions. If
you have moved and are not sure that we have your correct
address, please contact me, via e-mail, so that we can make
sure you are sent a ballot.
If anyone can assist Joe on the Elections Committee, please
let me know right away. Those duties will mainly consist of
checking all the returned envelopes against our membership
list, opening all the envelopes and counting the ballots. It
is a one-night commitment (unless a run-off election is
necessary).
Thank you, Jean Diederich, President, AFSCME local 34.
